Replies were mostly what you'd expect, people saying things they liked about the cars the company makes, items they'd like to see in future models. Then Greenpeace urged it's fans the next day to ambush the VW post:

The company's post got hundreds of replies, which resulted in a rather large regret that they ever opened that particular can of worms. Check out this video put together by Greenpeace that very cleverly gets their environmental message across.
This brings to mind one that I wish I would've taken a picture of. A couple of years ago, my wife and I were driving through the Victoria Mall parking lot and noticed a STOP sign that someone had spray painted the words "Hammer Time" underneath the word Stop.

I was doing a live broadcast last night at Gold's Gym Express here in victoria. It's alwasy kind of weird, because I actually work out there. So these people usually see me working out, and then I just show up one evening and loiter around with a microphone. I say loiter, like I'm just wandering around aimlessy or something. That's far from the case though. I'm always looking for ways to entertain myself while I'm there.
I was speaking, off-air, with the manager and he told me there had been a couple of recent treadmill accidents there. He went into painstaking detail about how they went down.
Hilarious.
We spent the next ten minutes watching a complete D-Bag, wearing spandex none the less, going backwards, showboating on a treadmill. Is it wrong that we were both begging for an old fashioned youtube moment? A complete "Treadmill FAIL", type of happening?
Nah. He would've had it coming to him for hot doggin' it in the gym.

I admit that I'm a Tebow, "The Footballer", fan. Not a Tebow, as Christian Crusader, fan. However, it doesn't bother me at all that he wants to use his celebrity to promote his religious beliefs. Who gives a poot? I just like him because he set the NFL back 60 years or so. He plays leather helmet football.
On the flip side of that, it also doesn't bother me at all when someone makes a joke about his religious motives. It doesn't bother me when someone makes a joke about Jesus though either. But again, I'm just missing that "I am offended by that" gene.
So now there's the Tebow Nation getting all fired up over a tweet that Bill Maher, comedian and long-time host of "Real Time" on HBO, shot off into cyberspace. They're offended, I guess. Again, I don't get it. But whatever.
Peyton Manning did it. Tom Brady did it. THAT, my friend, is pretty elite company. SNL is reportedly set to ask tim tebow to host SNL. Sources say that he "can't" and "won't" til after the season, but likely will accept the offer.

This could be a very bad thing for the rest of the world. It's the "Zerox" law of nature. A copy is never as good of quality as the original. A copy of that copy is even worse. And so on. This also applies to incest (for those in Kentucky) AND world leaders that get tehir gig because their daddy gave it to them.
