Want to Buy a Piece of Victoria History?

While perusing the interwebs this morning, I ran across a Facebook posting of a piece of Victoria history for sale on ebay-a $10 bill from 1913 from the Victoria National Bank. Wow! How often do you see something like that?
This is what is known as a National Bank Note, which is Unites States currency issued by national banks chartered by the United States Government. According to the sale description, these notes wereusually backed by U. S. Bonds the bank deposited with the U. S. Treasury.

Not being much of a coin or money collector, I have no idea what the actual value might be, but if you’re looking for something like this, it’s listed for sale on ebay for $332.50.
