Victoria Makes Top 10 for Historic Preservation

Victoria certainly has a lot of history, and the pride shows everywhere you go. Just drive around on the historic homes tour, or take a look at some of the downtown businesses. According to the website Livability.com, the city ranks 10th for U.S. cities in historic preservation. The site calls itself “a comprehensive online resource on more than 500 of America’s Best Places to live, visit, work, play and explore.” Programs like the city’s Main Street Program, along with museums and it’s 113 registered historic properties were cited as factors for the ranking.
