The Victoria Generals could only muster four hits and one run last night, as they fell to the Brazos Valley Bombers 6-1.

Generals pitching also struggled as starter Jordan Pacheco gave up six hits in six innings, including a three-run homer in the first, and a two-run blast in the second. Pacheco did manage to throw six strikeouts, and gave up a walk.

The loss marks the Generals fourth straight, falling to a record of 13-9. The Bombers meanwhile improve to 19-3.

The Generals have a much needed day off today before embarking on a four-game road trip to take on the Texas Marshals in Dallas tomorrow and Wednesday before returning to Bryan for two more games against the Bombers on Thursday and Friday. The Generals return home Saturday when the Acadiana Cane Cutters come to town.
