Last night wasn't such a great night for both the San Antonio Spurs, or the Victoria Generals. While the Spurs lost a nail biter in the NBA Finals, the Generals also lost 4-1 to the Brazos Valley Bombers.

Bombers starting pitcher Zac Curtis went 7 innings giving up only 1 run on 3 hits, with 10 strikeouts in the win.

The Generals struggled to find hits with their first and only run coming in the first inning.

The Bombers lead the league at 16-3, while the Generals are in 2nd place at 13-6.

The Generals seek revenge tonight at 7:05 at Riverside Stadium for the second game of the 2-game series. Tonight is the fourth annual Hot Diggity Dog Night presented by the Dorothy H. O’Connor Pet Adoption Center.  Gates open at 5:00 for registration for the weenie dog races.  Preliminary races begin at 6:00 and game time is 7:05pm.

Go Generals!
