The Victoria Generals improved their record to 5-3 on the season, beating the McKinney Marshals 7-1 last night completing a 2-game road sweep. Covey Morrow pitched 6 innings to pick up the win for the Generals, giving up only 1 earned run. Corey Holmes registered a save without giving up any runs for the rest of the game.

Next up for the Generals, a road trip to Kilgore tonight to tangle with the East Texas Pump Jacks, then back home to Riverside to host the Pump Jacks on Wednesday night.  Do you like Margaritas? Do you want to go to tomorrow night's game for free? Read on.

Margarita fans rejoice! Wednesday night is the first Margarita Wednesday of the season with $3 margaritas all game long. Plus, it's also $1 draft beer night to make up for the lost Thirsty Thursday, which was rained out last week.  Gates open at 6:00pm.

How cool is that? How many teams would reschedule a special beer night? Not many, I'm sure. Want to go see the Generals for free? Click here! To win tickets for Friday's game, click here.
