2012 Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee took an opportunity, on the soon to be defunct Glen Beck show, to twist this into a political jab.

He said, "He was praying that nobody will find out just how disingenuous they are about actually cutting the expenses and hoping and praying that the American people don't catch on to the games that they're trying to hoist upon us".

That is so lame.

What about farting? Is it wrong that I wanna hear a high ranking elected official, unexpectedly, pass gas in a public forum. You can recover from association with Nazis and terrorist organizations. You can recover from shady financial deals and wishy washy voting records. But an air biscuit in a public forum about the middle east? No way.

Just watch the secret service try to keep a straight face on that one.
