In case you forgot there's a '300' sequel on the way, we've got your first look at '300: Rise of an Empire,' which takes the action to the sea.
We've heard rumors that there would be a point where we could see multiple 'Star Wars' films in a single year, much like what Marvel is doing with their superhero universe. What would that mean outside of 'Star Wars: Episode 7' and its sequels we didn't really know but now we've got a much better idea of Disney's plans. Director Zack Snyder ('Man of Steel') is developing a 'Star Wars' spinoff that would be loosely based on 'The Seven Samurai' but with Jedi.
Other than the footage of 'Man of Steel' we saw at Comic-Con, and the two teaser trailers we saw featuring the voices of both Clark Kent's human father (Kevin Costner) and his Kryptonian father (Russell Crowe), we've still yet to learn the details about what major trials Superman will be facing in Zack Synder's movie reboot. Thankfully new information has seemingly been revealed from a source we all love so much -- LEGO!
As with 'The Avengers' and 'The Hobbit' promotions, LEGO leaked the names of their primary sets that will be sold as accompaniments to its corresponding films. This year, they revealed what can be expected from their 'Man of Steel' sets and may have, perhaps unknowingly, hinted at the possibility of another villain for Superman to face other than Zod.
It's a bird, it's a plane ... No, it's another major 'Superman' casting announcement.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Oscar-nominated actress Amy Adams is set to play the coveted role of Lois Lane in Zack Snyder's 'Superman' reboot.
“Second only to Superman himself, the question of who will play Lois Lane is arguably what fans have been most curious about," Snyder said in a statement Sunday. "So we are excited to announce the casting of Amy Adams, one of the most versatile and respected actresses in films today. Amy has the talent to capture all of the qualities we love about Lois: smart, tough, funny, warm, ambitious and, of course, beautiful."
