After robbing a bank, most criminals will try to lay low for a period of time. Not 19-year-old Hannah Sabata. The Stromsburg, Nebraska teen wanted to get credit for her ability to knock over a local bank for over $6,000 and also make off with a Pontiac Grand Am that didn't belong to her.
Anybody who's been to YouTube quickly becomes cynical about the future of the human race, particularly when you read the comments to... well... any video. But this PBS video argues that YouTube actually makes you smarter by lowering barriers to learning about literally any topic. And we have to admit, they've got a point. There are all sorts of educational videos on YouTube. Of course, there are also videos like this:
This supercut of YouTube's greatest comments is practically a Christmas miracle. Not one comment that isn't just offensive. Numerous comments on YouTube that not only aren't offensive, they are actually funny as well. All compiled int
Low budget TV commercials are the best. Whether it's bad acting, lame copy, sloppy cuts and edits, I'm sure you've seen your share. Thanks to the internets, we don't have to go too long without enjoying some low budget goodness!
When you've got a job where all you do is play music all day long (yeah right), you tend to have a little extra time on your hands. Time that can be best spent doing things like reading magazines, harassing your co-workers, and surfing this vast space known as the internet, or as the old folks call it, "The Google." That's where you discover tons of creativity, like this awesome short animated film by Phillipe Gamer called "The Chase." Be sure to watch to the end. Enjoy!
Megan Lee Heart loves to watch YouTube videos. She also likes to post responses to those videos wearing clothes which show off her very ample bust.
You see those drug commercials all the time on TV, often for afflictions we didn't even know existed until we saw the ad. Strange how the drug companies, who should be marketing to doctors, are pitching directly to consumers, who then go to their doctor insisting that this new miracle drug is one that they have to have right away! But I digress. Check out this commercial parody for a fake drug that will cure lots of different things, whether they exist or not. This video not suited for minors, and certainly not for the workplace either.
It's amazing to think about it, but You Tube is taking over the world, or at least the internet, anyway. Statistics reveal the amount of videos uploaded to the site now numbers 1 hour of video uploaded per second. According to a You Tube blog post, more than half the world is watching videos every day.
For all the hours of video you're uploading—you're watching more as well; we've now exceeded 4 billion video views globally every day. That's up 25 percent in the last eight months and the equivalent of more than half the world's population watching a video every day, the same number as there are U.S. $1 bills in circulation, the same as the number of years since there was water on Mars. … It's a big number, and you're making it bigger every day.
Check out this cute video that expresses the point.
Ladies, if you were shopping at the mall and you were offered a free makeover, would you say yes? If you were told to close your eyes while the makeup artist does your eyes, how long would it be before you opened them? After this video, you might not want to volunteer for the free makeover. Check it out below.
Back in the 70's, practically every band went through their disco period, even Pink Floyd. Okay, maybe not. But what if the prog rockers teamed up with one of the biggest bands of the period for a collaborative effort? I now present to you the possible results of a marriage that never happened. Enjoy!
There are some pretty cool extreme skiers out there, and they usually take to huge mountains in beautiful locales covered in white powder. Apparently you don't need to be up helicoptered in to hard to reach spots anymore, because now, there's extreme urban skiing. You will however, need at least some snow. Check it out!
