Russell Brand and Six Other Celebrities Who Have Been Deported
Russell Brand just wanted to see his wife Kate Perry perform in Japan. Unfortunately for the funnyman, Japanese authorities weren't amused by his criminal record, and on Sunday the 35-year-old was deported from the island nation.
Perry took to Twitter to explain what had gone down:
So...my husband just got deported from Japan. I am so. sad. I brought him all this way to show him my favorite place," she tweeted. "It was for priors from over 10 years ago! ...But of COURSE I my Japanese fans & the show #MUSTGOON no matter the daily aftershocks or husband kidnappings!"

The Republican figure confirmed his long-awaited announcement on Wednesday in a video posted to YouTube, in which he said, "I believe we can return America to hope and opportunity ... There's a much better American future ahead."

Aflack Returns With New ‘Spokesduck’ Voice [VIDEO]
He's baaaack!
Last night, Aflac debuted a commercial featuring the official new voice of its famous -- and admittedly annoying -- "spokesduck."
The man behind the voice is 36-year-old Daniel McKeague of Hugo, MN, who reportedly beat out 12,500 contestants for the gig, according to E! Online. McKeague is also a father of three.
Steve Nash Gets Awkward Lap Dance From Nicki Minaj [VIDEO]
During a concert at U.S. Airways Arena in Phoenix Tuesday night, hip-hop diva Nicki Minaj pulled Phoenix Suns point guard Steve Nash up on stage and proceeded to give him a lap dance.
From the bewildered, somewhat frightened look on Nash's face, you can tell he's not really a strip club kind of guy. Nash's teammate, Vince Carter, tweeted this reaction to Nash's reaction: "If y'all could have seen @SteveNash face when @nickiminaj got on top of him ... #Classic."

A few days ago, Cyrus tweeted a new photo of herself, in which she presumably meant to show off her "piggy tails."

Streaker Takes Jog Along L.A. Freeway
You see a lot of nutty things driving down the freeway in any major city, but morning passengers on the 405 Freeway in Los Angeles got more than they bargained for when a man decided to take a nude stroll on the side of the road on Tuesday.
A number of motorists saw the suspect running in only a pair of black socks. Some even tweeted about it and posted pictures for others to see. They say he trotted leisurely along the freeway until taking the Santa Monica Boulevard exit. Soon after he allegedly attempted to attack a woman.
Homeland Security to use Twitter and Facebook?
One of the stories making its way around the web this morning is that of the Associated Press obtained a draft by the Homeland Security Department for a plan that would reduce the current five color terror alert system and replace it with only two levels of warnings, elevated and imminent.
It would also allow for the use of Facebook and Twitter to relay terror warnings to the public.
Escaped Bronx Zoo Cobra Captured
The highly venomous cobra, which made headlines after she escaped from her holding cage in the Bronx Zoo last Friday, was captured Thursday morning in a dark corner of the Reptile House, according to Bronx Zoo officials.
During her week on the lam the Egyptian Cobra has become a world-wide celebrity, and a joke Twitter account set up on the snake's behalf now has about 200,000 followers.
