I know in bigger cities, there's a multitude of dining establishments to choose from, lots of which are open on Thanksgiving day. But what about here in Victoria?

Our research department (i.e., some bums we found in the woods behind the station), spent the better part of a day contacting local eateries to find out who's open and who's not. So we've put together a list to help you better make plans to spend Turkey Day out on the town! Here's our Top Five.

The Filthiest Restrooms In Victoria – Harley's Top Five

Finally, I get to write about one of my favorite subjects. Filthy, Public Restrooms. In particular, filthy, public restrooms...in Victoria, The best/worst. The funniest/saddest. In General, the public restroom is the embodiment of the dualistic nature of all that is human. What? Sorry if I got a little deep on you there. What I mean, is that you love them for the very same reasons you hate them. Ever smelled something so foul in a public restroom, that all you can do is laugh hysterically? I have. Ever seen something so shockingly vile in a restroom, that you had to take a picture so people would believe you? Yep, me too. The top five filthiest restrooms in Victoria is a personal list of mine. I'm sure I'm leaving several off though. So feel free to respond and either debunk my list or add to it. Give me a personal experience, relating to a filthy, public restroom here in our fair burg. So without pointing fingers, here's my list:

Let's face it, with gas prices on the rise, it's hardly economical to head out on a road trip for a party. Much less so when you'd prefer to keep your cash invested in the actual festivities for a Bachelor party.

While we may not have a whole lot of places for the soon to be hubby and his cohorts to hold their traditional event, we've put together a list of the Top 5 Ways to make a whole day out of the party. The list assumes you have a whole day to spend on the event but any of the suggestions can be used for a stand alone stop on a night of Bachelor partying and are listed in no particular order should you want to use it for that purpose.

Best Coffee in Victoria – Harley's Top 5

It started out for me when I did an overnight, call-in radio show in Tennessee. Coffee. And lots of it. Back then it was just whatever I could get my hands on and put cream and sugar in. But after a while, my tastes started changing. Suddenly a cup of double burned, half-day old, gas station or break room coffee wasn't good enough anymore.

I needed something that kept me going, yet didn't taste like mud but at the same time, didn't crossover into the fruity, fu-fu drinks either. Because we all know that one day you're drinking a Raspberry & Vanilla Bean Latte and the next thing you know, you're tying your shirts in knots and wearing roller skates on your way to Bath and Body Works. And for the record, a man is writing this. Any of the aforementioned things would be considered attractive qualities in a female.

Get my point? I'm a real coffee guy.
