Last month, the Havelock Police Department arrested Odessa Clay, 30, for giving her 11-year-old daughter a small, heart-shaped tattoo on her shoulder. Clay now faces one count of tattooing a person under the age of 18 because apparently it is against the law for anyone to tattoo a minor in the state of North Carolina, even if there is parental consent.

While I don't believe having your face tattooed is actually a prerequisite for having the nickname "Mad Dog", I assume it can't hurt your odds of keeping the nickname for years to come.

The 27-year-old pictured here is "Mad Dog" Deon and yes, that is a real tattoo of a skull covering his face. That is not Sharpie you see there but actual ink that has been permanently etched into his skin.
