'Buck Wild' was shot in Goliad and Weesatche had it's big screen debut in April at the Dallas International Film Festival, and at the Hill Country Film Festival in Fredricksburg earlier this month.

A comedy horror film called "Buck Wild' that was shot in Goliad and Weesatche has it's big screen debut April 6th at the Dallas International Film Festival, and at the Hill Country Film Festival in Fredricksburg on May 4th.

Thank God we don't have to worry about it here in south Texas. Of course, back in my day, all we had was a snow shovel to use. A plow would have been great, but this little "baby" plow isn't much help.

Honestly, I have no idea about the drought, it just seems like every year when we get some rain, the first thing you hear is "the drought's not over." Again, I'm no expert, but I'd say we are not in a drought at the moment.

Other rainfall reports said there was 9 inched in Jackson and DeWitt Counties, and Inez registering 7 inches. At Calhoun County Airport, officials listed right around 3 1/2 inches of rainfall. No significant problems were reported from the rainfall, but minor river flooding is expected.
