Live Colbert Late Show not enough for you? You’re in luck for the actual 2016 election night. Win or lose, Stephen Colbert might host a live special that very night, according to new word from Showtime.

Cameron Crowe fan or otherwise, we’re at least anxious for a look at the Almost Famous director’s new Showtime Roadies, debuting June 26. Thankfully, the network has obliged, adding Office vet Rainn Wilson into a new full-length trailer getting to know the characters.

It's been forever and a day since we've heard about any real momentum behind the proposed 'Halo' TV series under Stephen Spielberg, which originally had been set as the first of Microsoft Xbox's original content, and now we may know why. A new report suggests the 'Halo' TV series might land on Showtime instead, as part of a unique deal that has taken time to put together.

Showtime's forthcoming monster drama, 'Penny Dreadful,' has been something of a question mark up to know, even with such well known stars as Josh Hartnett and Eva Green, and Sam Mendes producing a mash-up of history's great literary monsters, but wonder no more! Showtime has officially booked a May premiere and revealed our first real heart-stopping look at 'Penny Dreadful.'

We've seen 'Sesame Street' take on everything from 'Sons of Anarchy' to 'Boardwalk Empire,' but the long-running PBS series' "Homeland" parody might be the most spot-on yet. Bringing Carrie, Brody, Saul and the rest to life as "Homelamb," you might be surprised by the adult humor 'Sesame Street' manages to cram into its latest parody.
