For a guy who waited 15 years to unleash ‘Chinese Democracy’ on the public, Axl Rose is sure writing a lot these days. However, it’s not new songs producing, but rather another open letter to his fans clarifying his much-publicized decision to decline his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last weekend.
Later tonight (April 14), the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place in Cleveland. With all the bad news this week surrounding Axl Rose‘s refusal and Rod Stewart‘s inability to attend the ceremony, we thought we’d try to put a positive spin on the event and ask you who else should be in the Hall of Fame.
The last original Guns N’ Roses member, guitarist Izzy Stradlin, has finally weighed in with his own statement about the group’s upcoming induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Rod Stewart is sick and will not perform with his former Faces bandmates at this weekend’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, nor attend the festivities at all.
Axl Rose has made it quite clear that not only will he not be reuniting with any former members of Guns N’ Roses at this weekend’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, he won’t be attending at all and he’d prefer if everyone leaves him and his name out of the induction plans altogether.
