U.K. record buyers have been spending a lot of money on classic rock artists lately.

With renewed interest in Deep Purple as the band makes plans for 2013, there’s something special that will precede their new album and future touring. EMI has announced that the band’s ‘Machine Head’ album will receive a 40th Anniversary reissue this fall.

The Emerson, Lake & Palmer catalog has already been boxed, reissued, re-boxed, remastered, and repackaged on multiple occasions, but Razor & Tie has apparently found some more stuff in the vaults — and they’re rolling out an ambitious reissue campaign with deluxe editions of the band’s first two albums this September.
