"F--- yeah!" That was Guillermo del Toro's response when Legendary Entertainment CEO Thomas Tull asked him if he could come up with another great idea for 'Pacific Rim 2.' The first one hasn't even hit theaters yet (is set for a July 12 release) but the decision was made a while back to start work early on a follow-up, and now the first kernels of a story have dropped from del Toro himself.
Though the advertising for Guillermo del Toro's 'Pacific Rim' has mostly focused on the epic battles between monsters and giant robots (which are called Jaegers), we're curious if there is more going on in the movie that just large scale smackdowns. The latest featurette allays our fears by playing up the "neural handshake" that happens between the Jaegers co-pilots.
