UPDATE: Subway Pole Dancing Is Becoming a Trend [VIDEOS]

CORRECTION: Ryan Wenzel has contacted us to clarify that he was the one who shot the video and was not actually the one performing the Subway Pole Dancing, as noted on the NY Daily News website:

The video, which was posted on YouTube and later Gawker.com Thursday, was taken Wednesday night by Ryan Wenzel, 26. He was headed home from "Slaughter on Tenth Avenue" - ironically, a ballet performance that featured a stripper - when a crowd of people walked on the train and began the impromptu show.

Thanks for the heads up, Ryan!!

The big news in public transportation this week was 26-year old Ryan Wenzel (not pictured), who captured a video of what appeared to be an impromptu pole dance on New York City's L Train.

While the show may have seemed spontaneous, it turns out it was actually part of a shoot for an upcoming Girl Talk video.

However, because it was discovered that Magic still smokes - as you will hear in the video below, nicotine oozes off of his voice - he was forced to perform his sickening stunt without much pomp or circumstance.
