All eyes are on acclaimed horror director Guillermo del Toro to deliver in this summer's monster blockbuster 'Pacific Rim,' as well as our continued interest in FX's adaptation of 'The Strain,' but del Toro's next 'Monster' project might be somewhere in between. The 'Pan's Labrynth' director has reportedly teamed with HBO to develop a series based on beloved Naoki Urasawa manga series 'Monster,' but is the concept too out there even for HBO?

The new album Monster has had some delays, and probably won't see the light of day until September or October, but Kiss rocks on with a new single and a tour. The new track Hell Or Hallelujah has been performed live, and now is available on iTunes. The song has all that Kiss fans look for like loud guitars, a great hook, and a straight-ahead rock attitude. Kiss are turning back the clock for the recording of their new album, ‘Monster,’ which should be out by the summer of 2012. The band is bucking the trend of using digital recording gear, opting instead for the retro experience of old analog equipment and a stripped-down approach. In other words, don’t expect any outside writers, extra keyboards or superfluous children’s choruses this time around.
