Volbeat is a Danish band that has had a lot of success lately in the U.S., with a bunch of songs on the charts. Here is one that originally came out in 2008 on an album called Guitar Gangsters and Cadillac Blood, and also appears on their latest live album Live From Beyond Hell/Above Heaven. The song is still in the Top 10 on the Active Rock charts. We get a lot of requests for it on KLUB Rock, so here's a look at the video. Enjoy!

Godsmack Rocky Mountain Way-Official Video

Godsmack recently released their 9th album called Live & Inspired. The album is a 2-disc set, the first of which is all live material, recorded at Detroit's Fox Theater . The 2nd disc constitutes the 'inspired' portion of the album, 4 covers of classic rock tunes. The band has done a great job on them in my opinion. You'll find covers of The Beatles' Come Together, Metallica's Nothing Else Matters, Pink Floyd's Time, and Joe Walsh's Rocky Mountain Way, which can be heard right here on KLUB Rock 106.9. Another rock great has fallen. Jon Lord, most notably recognized as the keyboardist for Deep Purple, died yesterday from a fatal pulmonary embolism at the age of 71. Lord's keyboard work was influential, to say the least. Here he is warming up before a show in Essen, Germany, playing the Deep Purple song Lazy. R.I.P. Jon, you will be missed.
