Josh Hamilton Slams 4 Homers, Sets Record in Win Over Orioles [VIDEO]
How 'bout them Rangers, and how 'bout Rangers slugger Josh Hamilton! This guy is awesome, right? He hit four home runs in his team’s 10-3 win against the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards on Tuesday night. Hamilton became the 16th player in Major League Baseball history to accomplish the feat, and the first since Carlos Delgado of the Toronto Blue Jays, back in '03.
Leading the charge in the Rangers’ victory, Hamilton’s four homers were all two-run homers: two off Orioles’ starter Jake Arrieta in the first and third innings; one off Zach Phillips in the seventh, and one off Daniel O’Day in the eighth. Rangers’ shortstop Elvis Andrus was on base for every home run.
