Rollins, a former Black Flag frontman and charming multihyphenate (he counts actor, musician, writer and spoken-word performance artist among his many callings), defused the situation with his sharp wit: “Nice aim,” Rollins says cooly, “but they’re not my size.”

He also offered to return the shoes after the show, but we’re betting the heckler was bounced before Dinosaur Jr.’s set began.
