‘Scary Movie 5′ Review

My disdain of the 'Scary Movie' franchise came early. I distinctly recall seeing the 'Scary Movie 2' poster, which featured Kathleen Robertson wearing a t-shirt that says "I See Dead People." This isn't a joke. It's just a reference. It isn't clever, it isn't witty - it's just saying a thing from another movie. It's not funny.

Almost 10 years later, 'Scary Movie 5' still suffers from this debilitating problem. There is absolutely nothing funny about going 'Inception'-style into Christian Grey's S&M room and having Mike Tyson show up. Yet, if you are somehow able to ignore the lowest common denominator pop culture appearances (I hesitate to even call them jokes) there are a great number of truly amusing gags and examples of rapid fire dialogue zings. Put bluntly: when the film is freed from the shackles of its referencing mandate, there's some good, dopey humor in here. Much to my surprise, I laughed out loud a good half-dozen times.

‘Anger Management’: FX Airing 45 New Episodes A Year

Last year, we were astonished by the news that FX had picked up Charlie Sheen's contract option for an additional 90 episodes of 'Anger Management' to follow the first 10, and now the network has dropped another bombshell. Rather than follow the traditional season format, or space out its generous order, the network will move full steam ahead with a massive, nigh-uninterrupted 'Anger Management' run over the next two years. Find out how much 'Anger Management' is coming your way inside!

‘Two and a Half Men’ Shocker: Miley Cyrus to Replace Angus T. Jones?

Will the 'Two and a Half Men' crazy never end?  Earlier this week, all eyes were on young star Angus T. Jones when his "Forerunner Chrconicles" religious rants hit the web, denouncing the ten-year show as "filth" and urging viewers not to watch. Since then, Jones has since apologized and vowed to remain with the series, in spite of Charlie Sheen's comments, but could recent guest star Miley Cyrus be on deck to replace Jones?  Almost certainly so, according to insiders!

Charlie Sheen Invites Angus T. Jones to Join ‘Anger Management’

It's the story that just keeps giving!  Like we mentioned yesterday when disgraced 'Two and a Half Men' and current 'Anger Management' star Charlie Sheen offered yet another comment on 'Men' star Angus T. Jones' religious-fueled "Filth" rant against the CBS sitcom, it's unlikely Jones will risk rocking the boat any further.  However, Sheen now hopes to coerce the young star to join the dark side leave 'Men' behind as he once did, and join him on 'Anger Management!'  Would Jones accept the offer?

Charlie Sheen Talks Angus T. Jones Again, Calls ‘Men’ “Hive of Opression”"

You'd think that with 'Two and a Half Men' star Angus T. Jones' major mea culpa yesterday over the hurtful nature of his religious rants against the series, there wouldn't be all that much more to say on the matter, but ours is a world where Charlie Sheen has tiger blood-fueled thougnts and a microphone at the ready. Indeed, the disgraced 'Men' star is at it again, offering personal thoughts on his former co-star's "emotional tsunami," and dragging Chuck Lorre into the mix. So what's Sheen saying now?

Lindsay Lohan Tries to Quit ‘Scary Movie 5′

Lindsay Lohan is trying to make a comeback. Part of that comeback is her role in 'Scary Movie 5' where she was set to appear alongside Charlie Sheen. Except Lindsay Lohan just can't stop being Lindsay Lohan and the actress, despite trying to be on her best behavior, disappeared, skipped rehearsals, missed her flight to the film's set and tried to bail on the film by claiming "walking pneumonia." Oh Lindsay.

Charlie Sheen Admits When He Was "Winning" He Was Actually Losing

As the world watched Charlie Sheen‘s nuclear meltdown in the days after he was canned from ‘Two and a Half Men‘ last year, a lot of people couldn’t help but find the irony in the word he used to describe his situation: “Winning!”

Hilarious Promo For Charlie Sheen Roast

This is actually one of the funniest things I've seen on TV in a while. This is a promo for the upcoming Charlie Sheen Roast on Comedy Central. It's kind of a spoof on his Dad's Apocalypse Now character, or perhaps Charlie's own Platoon character. Reeeeallly clever. Enjoy.
