Headbangers rejoice! An upcoming book promises to trace the entire history and development of heavy metal through first-person interviews with many of its most important performers -- including pioneering shock rocker Alice Cooper, who calls 'Louder Than Hell: The Definitive Oral History of Heavy Metal' the "book every metal fan should own."
Although there is 17 years difference between the two, Alice Cooper and Slash have plenty in common, including a love of heavy rock, living on the edge and top hats. So it makes sense that the two would jam together, as they did on on Thursday (Jan. 31).
