News Anchor Can’t Get Through Fat Cat Story Without Cracking Up
It looks as if that obesity epidemic that America finds itself in has spread to the feline population. Perhaps our FLOTUS can tackle that next, but until she does, we’ll settle for this news anchor’s giggling coverage.
Occasionally, journalists are expected to cover stories called “fluff pieces,” such as this one about a cat attempting to lose weight through swimming. Luckily, we’ve got just that example! In this video — which introduces us to Holly, a 13-year-old overweight cat from Northern Virginia who “dislikes the outdoors and other physical activities” — we aren’t positive if the anchor is laughing out of the sheer ridiculousness of the story or at the admittedly hilarious site of the poor cat swimming.
Honestly, a fat cat swimming about in a life vest? How cute!
