New Bread Store Coming Soon to Victoria

If you are a bread junkie like my wife is, well you're in luck.  The building suite at 6304 N. Navarro St. doesn't look like much yet but have patience grasshopper.

House of Bread, a California-based bakery, will soon call Victoria home.  The business will serve 24 breads, baked fresh daily, along with a variety of sandwiches, cookies, brownies and more.

The company's offerings range from jalapeno jack bread to chocolate zucchini, on to focaccia pesto feta and more. And it's all made with healthy ingredients - no preservatives, honey instead of sugar and so on.

Construction continues on the building and the company plans to hire 15 to 20 employees before opening in what he says he hopes will be mid- to late August I personally think it will be good to have a specialty bread store for those who have particular ailments such as diabetes or a gluten allergy, not too many stores cater to these folks.  Keep your nose to the air, the store will be open before you know it.
