Model Provokes Internet Outrage and Memes By Posing During Hurricane Sandy
Dont hate Nana Gouvêa because she’s beautiful. However, if you want to dislike the Brazilian glamour model because she doesn’t have a whole lot of tact, you’re in good company.
Gouvêa, who has appeared in Brazilian Playboy, was visiting New York with her husband during superstorm Sandy last week. It was her first trip to the city, and the pair decided to celebrate by having Gouvêa pose in the wreckage that has so far killed 98 people, left thousands homeless and millions without electricity.
Passer-bys also took some pictures of Gouvêa, as she struck poses amid downed trees and smashed cars. It wasn’t long before the images started appearing on the web.
Needless to say, many questioned the appropriateness of the bizarre, impromptu shoot, but instead of getting all high and mighty, the internet decided to have some fun with Gouvêa. So far there is a Facebook and a Tumblr account which spoof the 30-year old by photoshopping her into other disasters. Check out some of our favorites, so far:
