John Lennon is certainly iconic in the music world, and that impact is truly worldwide, as evidenced by a park in Havana, Cuba called John Lennon Park. Fidel Castro named the park, located in the Vedado district, and commissioned a life-sized statue of Lennon. Since the statue was unveiled 11 years ago, there has only been one problem-John's glasses keep getting stolen.  So, what did the Cuban government do? They hired a "spectacles man" whose job it is to place spectacles on the statue, when anyone comes by to see the art work.  Check it out.

Who would have thought that Fidel Castro liked good music?
