Man Gets Head Stuck in French Sewer, has to Spend the Night There

A man who got his head stuck in a French sewer, ended up stuck overnight,  and if that weren't bad enough, he had to pay a fine for polluting. Police in Montmelian, France,  say the unidentified 40 yr old man somehow got his head stuck, after accidentally dropping his wallet through the sewer grate, when he was in an underground parking garage.

Officials say when he was trying to grab his fallen wallet, he fell and somehow got his head stuck there.  The guy was there overnight until finally, someone using the garage the next morning spotted his feet sticking out, and called emergency services.

How could a man who got his head stuck in a sewer be fined for polluting? Turns out he was dumping oil from his car into the sewer when he dropped his wallet.

I guess karma is indeed a bitch.
