“Lone Survivor” Author and Hero Marcus Luttrell is Coming to Victoria.

Marcus Luttrell, author of "Lone Survivor" who appears as an extra in the current popular movie of the same name, is coming to Victoria.

Luttrell will be the keynote speaker May 10 at the Golden Crescent Habitat for Humanity "Speaking of Sweat Equity" series at the Victoria Fine Arts Center.

Veterans and their families will get first crack at tickets in mid-February, and tickets will go on sale to the general public in mid-March.

I've yet to see the movie so NO SPOILER ALERTS but if it's half as good as people say, i'm looking forward to it. And, according to an interview, the movie is about as accurate as it can be.

Looking forward to welcoming Marcus to Victoria.
