Heading into the final inning, the Cane Cutters were ahead 3-2, but a series of base hits gave the Generals the runs they needed to pull ahead for the win.

Generals starting pitcher Covey Morrow went 6 innings giving up 1 home run and a total of 4 hits with 3 strikeouts, Jeremy Flores came on in relief, giving up 2 runs, and got the win.
The Generals improved to 24-11 on the season, just 1 game back in the Texas Collegiate League standings. Next up for the Generals, game 2 of the series against the Cane Cutters tonight in Lafayette.
