William Shatner will be getting a Golden God Award next month, as an Honorary Headbanger.  Yes, that William Shatner, over-actor extrordinaire, author, and almost ageless freak of Hollywood will be honored for “making his name outside the metal world, but still embodying its spirit.” The 132 yr old actor is actually recording a hard rock album due out later this year called Seeking Major Tom. The album will feature covers of hard rock songs, and have guest appearances by rockers including Ian Paice, Ritchie Blackmore, and Zakk Wylde.
