A Look Back at Jack Klugman (RIP) on ‘Match Game’
This week America mourns the passing of TV comedy star Jack Klugman, best known as Oscar on ‘The Odd Couple.’ Here’s a look back at his work on the show ‘Match Game’ back in 1978.
The booze-soaked game show often dissipated into incoherence and ribald joke-telling, creating more spontaneous TV moments than any show that came before or after. In the clip above, Klugman switches seats so that he can be near his wife, Brett Somers (another frequent ‘Match Game’ star). Below you can watch as it all spins out of control (as usual).
