Okay. They've finally done it. Hats off to Science.

Scientists have successfully grown "live" human hearts in a lab using stem cells and will begin making the organs available to those in need of a heart. I hate to quote Joey Lawrence there, but sometimes you have to. "Whoa". It's as creepy as it is fantastic. It gives us more questions than answers. It has led a semi-rational, adult male to quote Joey Lawrence.

One of those questions :

Don't take me wrong, here. Please reserve your judgement. If I were inclined to enjoy the taste of a fresh heart, which is still a big IF right now, would it be wrong to eat one of these "human" hearts? These "Live" hearts? IT WAS NEVER INSIDE OF ANYONE!! IT WAS NEVER ATTACHED TO A HUMAN!! So it wouldn't even be cannibalism, right?

I just don't see what all the fuss  is about.  It's not reeeeeally a "human" heart.  It's just a bloody chunk of heart meat.  And I've gotta admit...they look delicious.  Hey, just sayin'.

What do you think?  Am I wrong?

Do you think one day that these "human" hearts or other body parts may be mass produced, Henry Ford style, then sold in nice, little packages at the Tiger Tote?  I hope so.
