Ghost B.C. (aka Ghost) have just released a new music video for the single 'Year Zero' (watch below). The clip seemingly follows a coven of witches who take in a mysterious man dressed in black. Before you check out the video, however, we must inform you that the clip contains nudity, so if you're watching at work, be sure to have some hot coffee nearby to splash into your boss's eyes in case he or she comes close to your computer.

Ghost B.C. took a low-budget approach for their 'Secular Haze' video, recreating a set reminiscent of old-school talk shows. Although we've named 'Secular Haze' one of the year's Best Metal Songs So Far, the song's video didn't tell any sort of story. Thus, in comes the visual accompaniment for 'Year Zero,' which along with 'Secular Haze,' brings Ghost B.C. into a more progressive musical dimension, aligning with the band's Satanic cult concept with greater precision.

The purpose of 'Year Zero' is to welcome Satan into the realm of man, therefore beginning a new age. A seemingly evil figure is greeted by the coven as he enters their lair. His followers give him much adulation before consuming raw steaks and changing into the black robes and masks worn by Ghost B.C. during their live performances. The male figure is revealed to be vocalist and spiritual leader Papa Emeritus II as he leads his group into a performance of 'Year Zero.'

As for the child who appears sporadically throughout the video, his unsettling presence and hand motions aligned with the rising sun gives the impression that he is Satan in human form, who Ghost B.C. celebrate in 'Year Zero.'
