Generals Edge Strykers 4-3

The Victoria Generals got their winning back on track last night, pulling out a 4-3 victory over the Woodlands Strykers at Riverside Stadium. It was a close game through the 7th, until a sacrifice fly in the 8th allowed a tie-breaking run to score, and the Generals held the lead the rest of the way.

Daniel Tunchez got the win in relief, allowing 1 run and 3 hits with 2 strikeouts in his 2 innings of work. The Generals Eric Weiss was the big bat on campus, going 2-2 with 2 walks, scoring 3 of the Generrals 4 runs on the night.

Tonight the Generals host the Strykers at 7:05 at Riverside Stadium, and it's Free Ticket Tuesday, sponsored by Caterpillar. All fans get in free. It's a great chance to see a great team in action!
