The Victoria Generals started the 2nd half of the Texas Collegiate League season with a 4-1 win over the Acadiana Cane Cutters in a masterful pitching exhibition last night.  In their first action since Monday night's All-Star Game, the Generals were led by the pitching of Bryce Zak, who gave up only 1 run on 3 hits in his 7 innings of action. Zak also fanned 3 batters in the outing.

Generals closer Tanner Green went the last 2 innings to register his 4th save so far this season, without allowing a hit, and striking out 2. The Generals are now 21-10 overall, and continue their homestand tonight at 7:05pm at Riverside Stadium against the Woodlands Strykers.
