Dude Falls Asleep While Robbing House

A man who fell asleep while robbing a house was arrested in Washington County in Oregon. How exactly does one fall asleep while committing a crime? Possibly a raging case of narcolepsy? Well, that or you are a complete and total idiot, not to mention an amateur when it comes to being a criminal.

Cristian Villarreal-Castillo was jacking valuables from a home in Washington County, Oregon on Friday (Sept. 21). Cops were called to the location at around 5AM when the resident claimed that an unknown man was sleeping on the kitchen floor. The perp entered the home through an unlocked door but crashed out while ransacking the crib. Steal some stuff. Take a nap. All in a day’s work.

The sleeper has been charged with two counts of burglary, attempted theft, trespassing and criminal mischief and was held at Washington County Jail. He had other items believed to have been stolen elsewhere on him, including a GPS and other electronics.

Hopefully he got a full 8 hours in lock-up.
