Cheap Trick Snag Aerosmith Guitarist Brad Whitford for Guest Appearance in Boston

That’s exactly what happened Thursday night (July 19) at Boston’s TD Garden when Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielsen brought out Aerosmith’s Brad Whitford to the stage to join them on the classic track, ‘Ain’t That a Shame.’ While Nielsen’s riffs in the song are quite signature, Whitford was allowed to slip in a breakdown here and there and add his own take to it. As seen in the fan-shot video below, Whitford is definitely enjoying the experience.
The ‘Global Warming‘ tour featuring Aerosmith and Cheap Trick will continue through Aug. 12 in Bristow, Va.
In other Cheap Trick news, Robin Zander has been rocking a ‘Dream Police’ guitar during performances, and the special Schecter Robin Zander ‘Dream Police’ model is now available at Guitar Center outlets. The stylish white guitar comes with an ebony fingerboard with 22 medium frets and pearl star inlays. It can be found here.
