I can't go too long without finding some humorous video of one kind or another, usually involving an animal of some kind. Usually it's something with the more common cats or dogs, since they tend to do funny things on a regular basis.
This video is a little different however, as it involves a not so common pet. In other news, I now want a mini pig. Check it out below.
News bloopers are awesome. I love to see these folks lose it on television, don't you? And when it involves animals, even better. Check out this video of a New Zealand news team introducing a video report that sends them into fits of laughter. It gives a whole new meaning to the term "donkey show."

Saturday we were hanging out at the new pet store on Laurent called Hairy Tom's Pet Shoppe, and I gotta tell you we had a great time. Hairy Tom's doesn't have the typical kittens and puppies and goldfish. No, they specialize in more unusual pets, like snakes, lizards, and ferrets. The people that work there are great, they know their stuff, and they have the answers to any questions you might have about their animals.
Hairy Tom's also has premium pet foods that are healthier for your dogs or cats, treats, toys, and that kind of thing too. Cats are pretty agile creatures, able to reach places us normal people can only dream about. Okay, so that's a bit of an exaggeration, but they do manage some pretty cool things sometimes. Take this resourceful feline for example. He manages to climb down from the fridge spidey style.
Texas wins again! This time however, the distinction is rather dubious because one lucky canine tops the list by achieving a Guiness World Record.
While most of our pets make us go “awww” with their innocent eyes, this dog on the other hand may freak you out a bit. Meet four-year-old Boston Terrier, Bruschi, who has just been given the Guinness World Record for “dog with the largest eyes” — an eye-popping 1.1 inches in diameter.

I like to think our dogs are pretty smart. Who am I kidding, they're dumb as rocks. Our Malamute named Zevon won't even chase a ball. He just looks at you like "what, are you kidding me?" Our 2 Yorkies Bella and Coco will fetch toys, but they won't bring them back to you. Instead, they just fight over the toys, and end up running off with them. You know how it is, but we love them anyway.

Meow is in kitty cat heaven. Meow, the 39-pound cat whose weight struggles made national headlines, died Saturday afternoon at the Santa Fe Animal Shelter and Humane Society. He was about 2 years old.His considerable size and sweet demeanor warmed the hearts of television-audiences everywhere as he made appearances on both ‘Today’ and the ‘Anderson’ show, whose host was particularly taken with the feline.
I'm always reading in the Victoria Advocate about people who lost their dog or cat. I also see signs posted around town with pictures of lost animals, on telephone poles, mailboxes, etc. I think most pet owners are responsible and don't let their animals run wild, but on occasion they do get out. Fortunately, the few times my dog got out, he always returned after cruising the neighborhood, and marking every post and tree in sight. Speaking of dogs getting lost, check out this hilarious bit from comedian Steven Wright.
We’ve seen our fair share of bizarre pet stories before, but this one definitely beats all others. In the UK, a choking dog managed to make an emergency phone call for help and responders saved him just in time. That’s one lucky pooch!
