Sevendust guitarist Clint Lowery is taking a step back from the road temporarily, but the band has moved quickly to fill the void, selecting Evanescence's Troy McLawhorn to sit in on guitar during Lowery's absence. The Sevendust rocker is taking the time away to be at home with his lovely wife Tara as they await the birth of their daughter. This will be the couple's second child. They wed in 2010 and already have a son, born the same year.

Slash surprised fans of Anthrax at the House of Blues in Los Angeles on Wednesday night (March 27) by taking the stage to play guitar on 'T.N.T.,' the AC/DC song Anthrax chose for their new album of covers called 'Anthems.' American alt-rock duo Local H have been forced to cancel a number of U.S. tour dates due to a physical attack on frontman Scott Lucas, which left the musician with serious throat injuries. Following a show in Moscow, Russia, last month, Lucas was the victim of a mugging, which left the frontman with no phone, wallet, cash and passport, along with no voice after being choked unconscious.
