The reunited Black Sabbath (well, almost) performed at Lollapalooza on Aug. 3 in Chicago, and now a number of fan-filmed videos (branded by Jason Jude) have gone online at YouTube to mark the occasion.

2012 was supposed to be the year that Sabbath fans got their wish for a full-scale reunion album and tour featuring the four original members, but drummer Bill Ward has so far decided to sit this one out, citing what he feels is an unfair contract offer. At Lollapalooza Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler and Tony Iommi performed with Ozzy’s drummer Tommy Clufetos filling in for the absent Ward, tearing through a set that included Sabbath classics like ‘War Pigs,’ ‘Iron Man,’ ‘Children of the Grave’ and ‘Paranoid.’ Ultimate Classic Rock was present on that momentous evening. Read our coverage here.

This is likely to be the group’s only stateside performance this year, as Iommi is still recovering from treatment for cancer. Black Sabbath are still scheduled to work on a new album.
