With Ghost Recon, Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell, Deus Ex, Need for Speed and God of War as the latest ones to start preliminary motions for their companion movies, we still have our own list of bestsellers we'd like to see join in on the action, one of which is definitely Call of Duty. However, if you're holding out to see this particular video game hit theaters, you might be waiting for a real long time... like, forever!

Liberace Movie Deemed “Too Gay” for Hollywood…But Not for HBO
Remember when the first trailer for James Franco's 'Interior. Leather Bar.' hit? The film itself, which recreates the 40 minutes of footage excised from William Friedkin's gay S&M-focused thriller 'Cruising,' is in itself too provocative for the mainstreamers considering it's homosexual content. Even Franco stated sarcastically in the trailer, "Don't show gay sex... that's the f---ing devil!" Well, apparently another film has fallen into this category of being "too gay" for a big-screen wide release, and that's the Matt Damon- and Michael Douglas-starring Liberace biopic 'Behind the Candelabra.'

2012 turned out to be a big year for movies -- 'The Avengers' and 'The Dark Knight Rises' helped make superhero movies cool again, while 'Cloud Atlas' and 'Life of Pi' painted mind-blowing visual effects on the screen, and Ben Affleck and Quentin Tarantino debuted their latest projects. For famed film critic Roger Ebert, it was a busy time as well, having written a personal record of 300 movie reviews in 12 months.
