Kids love the zoo, and when moments like this occur, it makes a visit all the more special. In this cute video, a young girl suddenly becomes the center of attention for all the otters at the Philadelphia Zoo. And so she plays with them.
After “revealing“ that America’s favorite yellow family The Simpsons hail from the town of Springfield, Oregon last week, creator Matt Groening was quick to retract his statement. So to put matters to rest, the latest episode of ‘The Simpsons’ latched on to the fervor over Springfield’s actual location with its opening sequence chalkboard gag.
For the uninitiated, ‘The Elements’ is a song written in 1959 by musical humorist and mathematician Tom Lehrer, which recites the names of all the chemical elements on the periodic table. Actor Daniel Radcliffe famously sang it on a British chat show and helped introduce the song to a new generation. One such fan is three-year-old Rose, who first attempted to sing the catchy tune when she was just two.
Raphael Davis, a Los Angeles city firefighter, allegedly filed claims for worker’s compensation insurance between December 2008 and May 2011, citing injuries that prevented him from working at his day job. Trouble is, prosecutors say during that same period Davis was caught moonlighting as a mixed martial arts fighter and fought seven bouts under the name “The Noodle”. The 35-year-old has now been arrested on suspicion of insurance fraud.

Calling her act ‘Laughter with Teddie,’ this little girl asks all the right questions. “Why do people sleep in pajamas?,” she asks. In a video just shy of two minutes, this aspiring stand-up comic ponders over things only her audience, presumably her age, would find amusing. Like, “what’s the deal with glossy paper?”
