The Coney Island Polar Bear Club's annual New Year's swim looks like a great time. People in costumes, swimming, having fun. We probably should've gone, but there was that whole hangover thing to deal with. Which makes us wonder, does jumping into the freezing Atlantic ocean cure a hangover? If so, we're totally there next year.
Unlike when we juggle faces with our friends, when you swap the faces of actors from the Golden Age of Hollywood, the results are delightful. In fact, they aren't terrifying at all. That's all they're serving up at the Tumblr Old Hollywood Face Swap -- face swap pictures of old Hollywood stars.
We're all feeling it. Only this sheep is brave enough to express it. Because if you screamed like this in the office or at school, something bad would probably happen. We're not sure what, because nobody's ever done it
We genuinely thought that if every pop culture reference ever made in a Quentin Tarantino film was stuck into one video, it would be a lot longer than this. It seems like quite an undertaking. The folks at College Humor were also good enough to arrange them all in chronological order, showcasing the scope of his knowledge, and proving that Tarantino would probably kill at Trivial Pursuit. Also, it seems like most of 'Deathproof' is in there, so if you haven't seen that, enjoy the abridged version!
Here's a little gem from the TruTv reality show 'Principal's Office.' We aren't really sure how the principal thought it was going to go when he brought in two student "leaders" to ask them for help solving the school's "grinding" problem, but this seems about right.
Seriously, we don't know what people were expecting when they bought a frozen Guy Fieri brand frozen S'mores pizza, but apparently it wasn't cayenne pepper. Unfortunately, that's what they got. On the bright side, the people who bought this pizza, which is available at Walmart and Sam's Club, weren't afraid to write scathing, hilarious reviews online.
It seems that a massive undertaking like a New Year's Eve Special was a little more than independent, LA-based television station KDOC could handle. Really. It definitely was.
Following Snoop Lion's epic rap battle against Santa Claus, 'Lord of the Rings' fans will delight as Gollum takes on his past self Smeagol in a hip hop battle royale. (The rest of us will be disturbed at the accurate makeup the guy in the video is sporting.)
We haven't seen people this upset over a movie since those poor, poor children realized they were going to die one day after watching 'The Odd Life of Timothy Green.' These two fully-grown, middle-aged humans have, in fact, "been to funerals of family members and cried less" than they did watching Anne Hathaway's descent from factory worker to toothless prostitute. All it took was sitting through an afternoon matinee of 'Les Miserables.'
Maybe musicals aren't your thing. In that case, here's a review for you. While everyone else is ruining their pants over 'Les Miserables,' one man can't get over the fact that Wolverine can sing. For everybody else, here are a bunch of 'Les Miz' covers from YouTube. Eit
To be honest, this is the first time we've made it all the way through the theme song for the latest Bond movie. Maybe it's the fancy suit, but comedian and 'Best Week Ever' host Paul F. Tompkins keeps us more entertained than Adele
If on day three of 2013 it's already beginning to feel like it's been an eternity since you've had a drink or a cheeseburger, watch this video. It's cats illustrating the ten most common New Year's Resolutions.
