Last night, yours truly attended the Seether show at Concrete Street in Corpus.  First off, if you're not familiar with Concrete Street it really is an awesome venue.  Last night's show was under the roof of the Cricket Wireless pavilion.  Eye Empire kicked off the show with about an hour long set and I was impressed with their performance.  10 years followed around 9 o'clock and I must say they absolutely KILLED it.  One of the absolute best up and coming band performances I've ever had the joy of watching....and I've been to SEVERAL Ozzfests, Warped Tours etc. but 10 Years seemed to have a real connection with their fans and seemed like they genuinely enjoyed being out there in the heat playing music for the masses....kudos to them

Seether took the stage around 10'ish and it goes without saying they put on a pretty awesome show as well and the fans in the crowd were already warmed up from Eye Empire and 10 Years and it showed when Seether started playing.

Overall it was an excellent show...one I'm paying for today having gotten home around 1am and had to be at work at 5:30 but definitely worth it.  If you have a chance to check out Concrete Street in Corpus I would highly suggest doing so.  A TON of national acts flow through there every year so don't hesitate to pick up a ticket or two.  The only complaint I heard was about the heat but hey, it's South Texas in August.  You should be used to it by now.
