Lindsay Lohan might soon be mopping up at the L.A. morgue, but first she stopped by the Tonight Show.   Check it out for yourself.

In an interview that aired last night but was taped Monday, she told Jay Leno that her punishment for violating her probation felt "shocking."

"I'm not a kid anymore," she said. "I'm 24. I've made a lot of mistakes. I recognize that, but I'm in the clear now and I feel that as long as I stay focused, I will achieve what I want to achieve."

The actress received a standing ovation from the audience when she came out.

WTF? Seriously, a standing ovation? Are these the same people that said they were Monica Lewinsky "Fans" ? These must be the same ones that yell at Paris Hilton, "You're the greatest Ever !!". The Greatest WHAT though???

A standing ovation just to be reserved for emotion stirring speeches and dying baseball players with a microphone. Now Lindsay Lohan gets them on the Tonight Show? Funny thing is, that Jay Leno hasn't heard applause like that, since Conan was taking over.

Lindsay, who was sentenced to four months in jail and 480 hours of community service, also confirmed that she landed a role in the upcoming movie Gotti: Three Generations.
