A Not So Happy Ending For Victoria Spa

According to Victoria Police, the Foot Spa located on the corner of Airline and Navarro has been the center of a months long investigation into reports of prostitution and also as a hub for an international human trafficking ring.

The investigation involved 14 different law enforcement agencies from Houston to Rockport.  40 year old Shaoyun Qu of Houston was arrested yesterday in Rockport at a spa that he owns along with the spa located at 2006 N. Navarro here in Victoria.  Another arrest was made in Houston in connection with the case but no information was release on how, or if, that person was connected to the Victoria location directly.

Victoria police chief J.J. Craig said enough evidence was collected at the scene to support the allegations.

As of 5:30 this morning, the business was boarded up.
